One of my patterns was selected as one of the "Best New Flies" by Fly Fisherman Magazine

I am honored and surprised that the editors of Fly Fisherman chose a pattern of mine as one of the "28 Best New Flies" of 2002. The pattern is a called the Duran's Biot Emerger. It is a simple, yet deadly midge or mayfly imitation that uses epoxy to imitate the tiny gas or air bubble the mayflies and midges use to ride to the surface during a hatch. It is unique because hardly anyone has begun to use epoxy on micro patterns. I have some more detailed photos available now and as a special to subscribers of Fly Fisherman, I'm offering 10% off any order placed by someone who was referred to my web site by the article!
